Bulk earthworks platform with excavator, stockpiled material and drainage pipes on site

Capabilities

What we deliver, and how far we take it.

Eight capability areas, each defined by what we are actually accountable for. Where a scope needs design input, it is drawn from Westvale Partners inside the Group rather than subcontracted out.

01

Capability detail

Eight capabilities, defined by accountability.

Each area below lists the scope we typically carry. Real engagements are scoped project by project — this describes the shape of the work rather than a fixed product.

01

01

Infrastructure project delivery

Roads, bridges, wharves and public assets taken from committed scope through construction to handover, with the program built around access, weather and shipping rather than around a wish.

Site establishment

Construction supervision

Program & staging

Quality and hold points

Practical completion & handover

02

02

Civil works

The earthworks, drainage and pavement layers that decide whether everything above them performs. Delivered with the wet season and the maintenance regime already accounted for.

Clearing & bulk earthworks

Subgrade & pavements

Piped and open drainage

Erosion & scour protection

Site services and hardstand

03

03

Water & utilities

Water supply, wastewater and utility infrastructure sized for realistic demand and — just as importantly — for what can actually be maintained once we leave.

Mains & reticulation

Pump stations

Storage & reservoirs

Treatment works

Commissioning & operator handover

04

04

Industrial & commercial

Facilities delivered as one coordinated package: structure, services, civil works and externals resolved together instead of as separate trades arguing at the interface.

Structural & building works

Mechanical & electrical coordination

External works & car parking

Services connections

Fit-out coordination

05

05

Project delivery

Where the client holds the design but needs a party accountable for building it, we take the delivery role and carry the site, the subcontractors and the program.

Head contractor coordination

Subcontract management

Site supervision & safety interface

Progress claims & variations

Defects & closeout

06

06

Project management

Program, cost and scope held against an agreed baseline, with reporting that tells an owner what has actually moved and what it costs — early enough to do something about it.

Baseline program & budget

Cost control & forecasting

Risk & change management

Stakeholder reporting

Contract administration

07

07

Engineering coordination

The interface between design and construction, run with Westvale Partners inside the Group so a technical question is answered rather than escalated between contracts.

Design coordination

Constructability review

Technical queries & site instructions

Interface & clash resolution

As-built and documentation control

08

08

Procurement & contractor coordination

Packaging, sourcing and freight sequenced around vessel schedules and wharf capacity — the part of a Pacific project that most often decides the program.

Package structuring & tendering

Supplier & contractor selection

Freight & shipping sequencing

Customs & landed-cost planning

Materials tracking to site

02

How we are engaged

Four ways to bring us in.

The right model depends on who holds the design, who carries construction risk, and how much in-region coordination the project needs.

01

Delivery contract

We hold the construction scope and are accountable for the built outcome, working to a client-held or Group-coordinated design.

02

Project management appointment

We manage the project on the owner’s behalf — program, cost, contracts and reporting — without holding the construction risk.

03

Delivery support

We supplement an existing team or contractor with specific capability: procurement, logistics, supervision or program recovery.

04

Coordination partner

We act as the in-region delivery counterpart for an organisation that holds the work but needs Australian-side coordination and Group engineering.

03

Inside the Group

The disciplines behind a Pacific project.

Westvale Group covers six integrated disciplines. Delivery decisions are tested against the relevant discipline inside the Group before they reach a site.

01

Architecture & design

Building design and documentation held inside Westvale Partners.

02

Civil & structural engineering

Civil design, structures and geotechnical coordination.

03

Flood & stormwater

Hydrology, hydraulics and stormwater management.

04

Mechanical services

Mechanical and services design and coordination.

05

Development management

Development oversight for Group and third-party projects.

06

Project delivery coordination

The Pacific delivery capability described on this page.
